DECORAH, Iowa – John D. “Jack” Board, age 75, of Decorah, Iowa, a former resident of Chester, W.Va., and Toronto, Ohio, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 18, 2013, at home after battling COPD for many years.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today, Sept. 22, 2013, at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah. His son, John F. Board, minister of the Church of Christ in Elizabethtown, Ky., will be officiating.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 2-4 p.m. at Fjelstul Funeral Home, with the service celebrating his life beginning at 4 p.m.
