One of the projects that seems to be burning inside is one which compiles a healthy eating lifestyle as part of one’s personal arsenal in the fight against COPD.
I found this video which documents the results of several studies. The first chronicled a 3+ year study where 120 study participants ate one more serving of fruits and/or vegetables daily where the “control” group ate what they wanted to.
The interesting finding is, their lung function didn’t deteriorate as the “control” group did – even after 3 years.
Note to self; when you eat better, you breathe better.
