North Brookfield — North Brookfield – Betty J. (Bennett) Jones, 78, of Gilbert St., died Thursday, October 9, 2014 in St. Vincent Hospital.
She leaves three daughters, Laura Gadbois and her fiancé Bernard Corriveau, Jr. of Southbridge, Ann Couture and her husband Brad of North Brookfield and Cathy Roussin and her husband Al of Brookfield; one son, Bradley Dumas of Warren; two sisters, Ruth Holloway of Vermont and Martha Leighton and her husband Owen of New Hampshire; two brothers, Ralph Bennett and his wife Vivian and Bernard Bennett of Montpelier, VT; nine grandchildren, Eddie, Amanda, Marc, Desiree, Brandon, Kyle, Tyler, Chaz and Willow; five great-grandchildren, Aiden, Emma, Brayden, Kaylee and Ryder; three Godchildren, Edwin, Candi and Cameron and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold R. Jones, two sons, Lawrence and Edward and two brothers, Emerson and Richard.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church in North Brookfield and loved bingo and playing cards.
A Memorial Service for Betty will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 5:00 PM in the First Congregational Church in North Brookfield. There are no calling hours. Flowers may be sent or memorial donations may be made to the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Miami, FL, 33134.
