Sharon Anne Tack
Sharon Anne Tack, 70, of Moorhead, MN, lost the battle with her COPD, lung disease on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Eventide in Moorhead. Sharon was born February 7, 1944, to Joseph and Alice (Scott) Lukaszewicz. She attended school in Chicago, IL. She was united in marriage to Daniel F. Tack on August 1, 1968. They made their home in East Grand Forks, MN. Over the years she worked at the VFW, Bronze Boot, Crystal Sugar and United Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. In 2001 they moved to Dilworth, MN to be closer to their children and grandchildren. She did some modeling at Catherine’s part-time.
Family was very important to Sharon. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. They would have “sleepovers” and eat buttered popcorn, watch Disney movies or her favorite “scary” movies. Manicures, pedicures and putting “curlers” in the granddaughters hair was a must! When the grandchildren were younger, Sharon loved to “rub their backs and play with their hair” at naptime.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Alice (Greg) Swanson; son, John (Lisa) Tack; son, Matt (LuAnn) Tack; daughter, Danni (Ronnie) Schiltz; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Ed (Kathy) Lukaszewicz and Frank (Theresa) Lukaszewicz; sister, Jody Jacoby; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; mother, Alice; and father, Joseph.
