Authorities have arrested a duo three days after the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Department issued a release seeking the public’s help to locate them.
Shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday, officers with the Mitchell Police Department and Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 55-year-old Ricky Herman and 49-year-old Katherine Hoxworth.
Herman was wanted on a Dawes County warrant for theft, and Hoxworth (aka Kathy Schmer/ Kathy Foster) was wanted on a Scotts Bluff County warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge.
The subjects were last known to be in a blue 1990 Chevrolet Sport Van bearing Nebraska license plate 21-A184. A citizen reportedly noticed the van by his shop, and called the authorities.
